Activity Summary

We dispatched staffs to Chengdu, capital city of Sichuan province on May 15, three days after the quake, and collected information at the site and from provincial governments, relevant agencies, etc. and assessed the local situation.

We acknowledged a lack of hygiene products, cooking oil and blanket, and delivered them to the disaster-hit areas from Chengdu. Targeted areas were Qingchuan County and Jiangyou, in northern part of the province and Mao County in Ngawa Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, in western part of the province.

Victims of the earthquake (Residents in Qingchuan county and Jiangyou, in northern part of the province and Mao county in Ngawa Tibetan and Qiang autonomous prefecture, in western part of the province)

Main Activities

We delivered the following items to victims in disaster-hit areas.
Qingchuan County
Soap 10,000 pieces, wet tissue 10,000 packs, female hygiene products 5,000 packs
Western area in Qingchuan County
Cooking oil(900ml)10,000 bottles
Jiangyou and Mao County in Ngawa Tibetan and Qiang autonomous prefecture
Blanket 2,240 sheets, cooking oil(1.8l)3,240 bottles
